WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE TO SERVE
The lives that are impacted would not be possible without those who give so generously of their time and their talents. Volunteers of all different ages, ethnicities and backgrounds — including business owners, students, accountants, graphic designers and stay-at-home parents to name a few — from all over the world are essential to our mission of rescuing families.
Teams are typically made up of 5 to 20 volunteers from the same affiliate with the desire to serve. These teams are designed to best support Rescate’s needs by using the individual team member’s talents and knowledge.
With your team’s help we are able to better serve, local children, youth, and family from vulnerable situations, through God’s love, in Sucua, Ecuador.
THE BENEFITS OF SERVING
We will work closely with the team leader to coordinate when to come, and what you will be doing so that your volunteer experience will reach your outreach goals, and the needs of Rescate.
You and your group can expect to experience personal growth, team unity, long-lasting friendships, strengthened abilities and development of new skill sets during your time of service.
Food and lodging? We got that covered! The benefit of working with Rescate is that we live and work here. We know what’s safe to eat, and where is best to stay for your group!
